Hi Folks,

I am trying to locate a Charter boat " Abracadabra" located on the South Coast, possibly Dimchurch. The skipper, I think is called Jeff.

On the other hand, can anyone please tell me where I can find out if there is such a boat.

Would it have to registered and if so where, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Prawncocktail,

I don't think that you will find it, I telephoned Sea Angler and Total Sea Fishing today without success. I've also contacted Alan Yates from the Sea Angler magazine without success. The Coastguard have never heard of it.

As far as I am aware it is not registered as a charter boat with any of the authorities. I have been told that it is or was based in Dimchurch, however Alan Yates assures me that no charter boats have ever opperated from there and that Dimchurch doesn't have a pier or jetty.

I am sure that it must be another case of the "Marie Celeste"???

Thank you for all your help.

Cheers

Hi Bigfish,

THE MAN CONCERNED informed me it was the "Abracadabra" out of Dimchurch.

I have it on a PM.

Hi Ian,

"Abracadabra" just say the word and it dissappears before anyone can see it. One minute it is there and the next it's gone.

As Paul Daniels would say, "That's Magic" I only wish that if I said the word again, it would appear, I would love to speak to the skipper.

However the search will go on.

Cheers
