Here are some useful phone numbers to ring if you see anything happening that you suspect contravenes any Bass fishery regulations and want to report it.

IFCA:
Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority.

Devon & Severn IFCA
01803 - 854 648

Out of hours phone:
07740 - 175 479

Southern IFCA
01202 - 721 373

Cornwall IFCA
01736 - 336 842

Sussex IFCA
01273 - 454 407

Kent & Essex IFCA
Kent: 01843 - 585 310
Essex: 01206 - 303 261

Eastern IFCA
01553 - 775 321

Northwest IFCA
01524 - 727 970

Northumberland (01670) 797676

North Eastern (01482) 393515.

Marine Scotland.
Call 0131 271 9700 (24 hours a day) or email:[email protected]

All of the IFCA's also have web addresses which are easy enough to find using google search.

So, if you're in anyway concerned about Bass conservation then store your local IFCA office phone number on your phone and use it if /when necessary.

IFCA do not have enough funding or resources to cover the whole of our coastline 24/7 and can only act on whatever they see or anything that gets reported.

So, I think it is only right and proper for RSA's to help IFCA help us
to protect our Bass fishery.
