Hi Everyone.
I am Down Tenby on the 3rd october for a week and would like some advise on where to fish etc.
Have not done any sea fishing for a while as i now live in the midlands.(reluctant carp angler).
Use to fish the solent in Hythe (southampton)Catching good flounder, plaice & some Bass.Always used Baited spoon or a simple paternoster rig,Is this ok for the area or do i need to catch up.Regards peter (newcomer). If any one is up for me tagging along for a day or nights fishing it would be appreciated.

Try amroth at low! the flounder here come right up to the shore so no need of swinging the rod like a mad man!

3 hook flapper aberdeens 6, 4, 2 or 1.
Bait small rag or maddies if you can get them. And just use a plain led and let it roll in the surf.
Also try Saundersfoot at low or the harbour wall at high.

People do fish for the mack around Tenby headland were the bandstand and life boat station is but they probably be long gone by then.

All the best! :icecream:
