A quick hello, I'm pretty new to sea fishing, started Autumn 2013 and mainly beachcasting. I live in Lincoln and the coast here doesn't give up a lot so I try to get around as much as possible. Having said that I have caught Dabs, a Rockling, a Whiting and a Dogfish (my profile pic, Ingoldmells 13/04/14) from the beaches between Trusthorpe and Ingoldmells........... Whiting from Hythe........ A small Cod and loads of Mackerell (from boat) and a Whiting (Harbourwall) from Whitby...... Whiting and Pouting from Great Yarmouth, which was hard work fighting the seals for fish! I have no weights of fish as I don't bother weighing them........maybe when I catch a monster!
Off to Devon in July and Northern Ireland in August, so I hope to add to my species list on those visits and no doubt I'll be on here asking for advice and marks as I'm pretty much an All the gear and no idea angler.
Thanks if you took the time to read my ramblings.
