Hi folks

I'm off to dawlish on the 23rd of july for a week and plan on talking my rod. (Well it aint a holiday without a day's fishing :) ).. Have any of you people ever fished in that area?

Regards

It is Dawlish or dawlish warren you are going? If Dawlish try fishing off the the stone jetty. If it is Dawlish Warren, fish off the rock at the 66 number painted on the wall (separates coastal path from railway). If you are prepared to travel you could try Teighmouth or catch the ferry from starcross to Exmouth. Hope this is of help

Spinning or feathering. It's a sandy bottom but only can fish it at high tide. If wanting to make a day of it there is stone jetty at the end of the large rock (has got a name but cannot remember it sorry) If standing on top ofthe jetty looking out to sea on the left its rocks (rough guess 20-40 metres out) on the right is sand/shingle bottom.
