Went fishing near Hook of Holland today. I tossed several different baits (fresh lug, salted lug, sandeel and razorfish, and combinations of the four) out to sea but it was all to no avail. The water was very clear, no tidal movement and a sunny sky.
Worst conditions one can have, so it was hardly a surprise.
