was interested to read in the weekly news this week that someone who likes to swim on llandudno north shore had to give up his swimming this week because he found two lots of feathers 50yds apart on the beach and has complained at the irresponsible anglers who have discarded thier hooks on the beach.this was also comented on by the small boat sea fishing club secretary who completely miss -understood the complaint and went on about the practice of setting night lines(ie.long lines staked to the ground and with hooks every yard or so)this was clearly not what the swimmer was on about rather than finding traces which had been lost due to not putting bail arm over etc.otherwise are we anglers so wealthy that we can afford to throw away perfectly good tackle on the beach,i dont think so.........

these mak feathers were probally lost by a noddy holiday maker casting with 10lb line as no self respecting sea angler would ever consider casting without a shockleader.
