Tryed hopeman tonight my best harbour
was pulling in small coalfish &pollock every cast also got a 9 inch sand eel kept it as cod bait then got 8 coalfish about 15 inch then sammy seal stuck his head up & bites went off
i seem to hit this size of coalies now and again would they be any good salted as creel bait

:) well done on the catch, was gonna go there myself yesterday but ended up at Burghead instead, and sammy or his brother was there too :banghead: I've had good wrasse, decent pollock and coalies at Hopeman in the past and seen some good catches . Were you fishing off the top wall or straight out from the pier? :huh:

Biggest fish were from end of pier tryed hopeman yesterday but it was blowin a hoolie. Was just using shrimp lures spinning.
Sometimes spinning gets the best results :) know what you mean about yesterday was the same at Burghead :cold:
