Tryed hopeman tonight my best harbour
was pulling in small coalfish &pollock every cast also got a 9 inch sand eel kept it as cod bait then got 8 coalfish about 15 inch then sammy seal stuck his head up & bites went off
i seem to hit this size of coalies now and again would they be any good salted as creel bait

well done on the catch, was gonna go there myself yesterday but ended up at Burghead instead, and sammy or his brother was there too :banghead: I've had good wrasse, decent pollock and coalies at Hopeman in the past and seen some good catches . Were you fishing off the top wall or straight out from the pier? :huh:

Biggest fish were from end of pier tryed hopeman yesterday but it was blowin a hoolie. Was just using shrimp lures spinning.

Sometimes spinning gets the best results know what you mean about yesterday was the same at Burghead :cold:
