I'm fishing southbourne tomorrow and night with a mate need some macks as some extra bait... all the ones i caught at abbotsbury were gutted decapitated ... and i want some heads and guts for bass.

Anyone know if people are catching macks off Bmouth pier yet? want to go tonight
as i dont have the time to drive to chesil

Saw 4 caught over HW this lunchtime on the left hand side off of the end - I blanked! (no surprise there)

Hey mate,

Fished HH groyne Tue and Wed evening and there where makcie about just as the sun was setting. Also last at Sbourne beach a shoal can in about 10 yrds chasing whitebait. There are plenty around so you should get some, O and they are a decent size

hey,
friend of mine fishes both piers, he says things start picking up after six. i,ve been getting a few off the beach (for the same reason as you) but no bass yet!

well i went to my local fish monger in hope of some mack heads ... missed them my like an hour but he said he'll have loads for me tomorrow around 11am .... oh yer free heads

so will be going tomorrow around 12ish to groyne 52 (southbourne/ HH)

might try some feathering later on
