Killed a few hours down Hurst Shingle this evening armed with rag, frozen blacks and mackerel. It looked very fishy when I turned up just before dark with a good swell and some colour in the water.
Long story short is it was slow going with a few tiny whiting and a small dog until my last cast produced a nice little bass of 2lb 1oz on half a mackerel fillet at range. Great slack line bite which really got the heart going and a nice little scrap, good way to save the session!
