Fished Huttoft two weeks ago, fished purely for flatties, i ended up with 3 small dabs my friend had 2 flounder and 2 small dabs. We both fished up until high water.
Easy fishing no weed and no seals this time, lol
has anyone fished the humber for the cod yet this season.

I've just got back from fishing Huttoft. (3Hrs up, 2Hrs down.) I did have weed about an hour and a half before HW, and the same again about 90 mins after, but it was quite short lived and it cleared up quickly. Is this normal?
Had 1x Flounder, 3x Dabs, 3x Whiting plus quite a nice Bass that was a pleasant surprise. Never fished there before but fancied a change after a couple of disappointing sessions off the wall in Grimsby where, on both occasions, only caught a single Whiting.
