Fishing since 8am, almost top of the tide now. Not a single bite. Looks good for plaice but none showing up. Where's the fish?

Yes that was me! Leaving Hythe, with 2 plaice and 11 dabs for the plate. Nice day to be out on the beach. All whiting undersized, caught a doggie too but again too small to keep. My mate beach rookie kept a nice plaice and some dabs.
