A message from the Family.

To all that knew Ian my father he passed away on Monday the 17th February having fought cancer, he died quietly and will be sadly missed.

For those who remember him, he was never away from the sea in his prime, whether it was fishing, bait digging or helping out others as much as he could, and through the summers he could teach more than a few the finer points of backcasting, still holding a record to this day.

I hope this message finds some of the people that I haven't been able to reach, as your all scattered round the country but for anyone wishing to the funeral is next Wednesday the 26th of Feb, and details can be found in the obituaries of Funeral Directors Barton-upon-Humber Immingham. a buffet and drink will be had afterwards at the Amethyst Hotel at 3pm.

Thanks for reading
