Can anybody help ID this fish. It was caught down at Port Glasgow a couple of months ago on ragworm. Had lots of blue along the side ad on the tail.
Any help to settle this debate would be much appreciated, theres 50 quid at stake here:)

above are right but its also a male.. the males have blue on them with a very impresive long dorsal fin. quite exotic to look at.

the females are just brown and usually smaller.

ive totally no idea lol, i couldnt have even guessed lol.

You can see why they call them Dragonets. Lovely little fish to catch, i find them really beatifull as are tub gurnards and reds. The colours are amazing and they look very prehistoric in appearance.
