I'm meeting up with an old school friend on Sunday afternoon, plan being to re-live our youth and do a spot of fishing (he also has a young 10 year old daughter who he is teaching to fish). I know the tide is far from ideal, and it now looks like the weather will be totally 'pants'. The original plan was to launch the canoe off Swanpool and fish of Stack, which would almost guarantee a mackerel, pollack or gar for her, but that now looks like a non-starter. Other thoughts are Tank Tracks, Trefusis, St Anthony's Head or walking to Stack.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated - the prioriy is to let his daughter catch something, mackerel, pollack or wrasse will do, so no secret Bass marks are needed!

PM me if you would like.
