I was fishing from Penmon last friday ,caught the usual pack of good sized dog fish ,4 small bass, and a couple of pollack just before the high tide I caught a fish which I have not caught before and I cannot identify
Could anybody help identify it thankyou

It's a five-bearded rockling I think.

Can't see the beards that well but the pot-bellied body and small head are good clues. Shore- and three-bearded rockling (both with three beards) have much bigger heads and are more streamlined, Ling-fashion.
