Was over at Loch Fyne this weekend, not fishing but there none the less, got chatting to some divers coming out the loch and they were telling me (after I'd asked about the fish they saw) there were a lot of congers through their dive, some small but mostly a good size. They were down 12-15m and within 100 yds of the shore (I watched their air bubbles). The place was the wee beach cove with a layby car park spot at Creagan Dubh, half way down the loch. So if your heading over that way for some fishing & fancy a bash with the eels - this is a place to go. Not my thing, but I know some of you like a battle with the dark menace :) They did mention there were a few rock cod but not as many pollack as usual.

Just in case anyone fancies a conger...

Nice 1 Tony...what side oh loch is Creagan Dubh as I can't seem to find it on G maps..

lol, never even seen it on anyones species list either.
