Hi all,
Had an e-mail from Mr P today asking if i was okay (thanks Nick 😜😜) & tbh i had'nt realised how long it had been since i was last on here. So i thought i'd better pull my finger out & let you all know where i've been (assuming some of you have actually noticed πŸ™„πŸ™„.
Seems like an eternity since i last posted on here but hoping to be back posting regularily again now.
Anyways i've been mad busy at work for the last few months as the dreaded Covid swept through the animal feeds mill where i work. At times it was literally "the last man standing" & as i've somehow managed to avoid catching it (luck of the Irish?) whilst the rest of the workforce were dropping like flies i've been covering shifts here, there & everywhere.
Been nearly as busy away from work- helping my middle son & his missus do up the house they've just bought, turning our spare bedroom into a tackle room & myself & the OH have now become greatgrandparents to 2 new members of the clan courtesy of 2 of our granddaughters.
All being well i'll be wetting a line on Friday night, as a few very early (for the Fylde coast anyway) Thornies have been showing it's gee'd me up into sorting my gear & getting out there.
Good or bad i'll stick a report up of the sesh.
Tight lines.
Rick😜

Cheers Gavin- it's nice to be back mate 😜.
Have too admit it's nice to see our 3 lads all settled down with kids of there own & still be young/able enough (i'm 59) to help out & also enjoy time with them & their families.
Re the pb Thornie, tbh mate i'll be happy just getting out, a fish of any description will be a bonus. Needless to say i'll be employing the auld "sh1t or bust" technique- big hooks & big baits.
Tight lines.
Rick😜
