im planning to fit a 360 pump on the transom for water circulation for my live bait tank does the pump have to be mounted a specific distance from the transducer to avoid
interference as id like to fit it just under the ladder so I can run the cables neatly up the ladder and then in to the truncking

Just to be sure, why not have the boat in the water switch on the sounder and run the pump loose beside it in the position you want to fix it. If all is good then you can fit it in the place without fear of interference. John

Agree with John"s posts
One other thing to think about is when I mounted a rule 360 on the transom of my previous boat I found that when under way at planing speeds it couldn"t deliver any water to my bait well so I fitted a pick up pipe to deliver water to my bait well when planing.
On my present boat I just have the bilge bait pump on flexible pipe & drop it over the stern when drifting & drop it in the bait well when planing to help circulation.
