Alright, ma wee cousin stayed with us last nite and this morning she has said she would like to go fishing.

So am wondering if there will be anything at irvine harbour. need somewhere close that we can get bus too case she gets bored

Spin for mackies or use bait for flounder or dogfish. just to the left of the old lighthouse is meant to be ok. Also, a wee bit further up where the boats are is good float fishing for mullet. Some really big ones in there and there's always a chance of a sea trout too

theres old wooden piers next to the boats on the way down to the big idea. you can get flatties of them, spin for mackies and float for mullet.

dan, the wooden piers are just passed the last pub down the harbour. i;ve had plenty of small flatties of it.
