The ISAC r2 match scheduled for Saturday 8th February 2014 at Browndown beach is CANCELLED due to the weekend weather forecast, SW gale force winds, gusting storm force 9-10 throughout the day.

The Met Office is stating that a MASSIVE 100mph Atlantic super storm is due to smash into Britain this weekend, and I don’t think you need to be tested against that.

ISAC must also consider our travelling anglers, newcomers, our more senior and disabled members, as well as the aftermath of such a serious weather event.

It’s NOT mandatory that we fish on Saturday. the match can easily be re-arranged for another day, so avoiding our 5th poor weather match in a row.

The next ISAC match with be held at Eastney Beach, Portsmouth on Saturday 15th March from 7pm until midnight. Further details are available on our website at INDIVIDUALS SEA ANGLING CLUB

Thank you for your understanding, stay safe and please let as many of your friends who were planning to come know, THAT THE MATCH IF OFF.
