Great to be back out on the water on such a lovely January day.
We had 13 bass between us. We didn't measure or weigh any but the average size was a good 4lbs, with the best about 6lbs. We had one double hook-up which is always fun.
Majority of the fish coming on Storm 360 GT Biscay Minnows 46g

Great stuff! As you didn't weigh or measure them, can we take it that those lovely bass were returned to spawn? They look alive in your pix. PH

Of course they were retuned PH....quick picture, un-hooked and back in the sea, lets hope the netters don't catch them....We don't generally measure or weigh unless the bass looks to be over 7lbs. I keep a few in the summer months but not many, usually fish between 3 1/2 - 6lbs.

Well done! I don't keep bass at all, but there is nothing wrong with taking the odd one for domestic consumption. If you do, slot size is the way to go! PH
