Bought this knife earlier, a Jarvis Walker 'Tec Tools'.. "Razor-sharp Stainless Steel" stamped on it lol what a load of crap! Waste of £7, should have spent a bit more and got a decent one. So blunt I can hold the blade and press down.

I know I can sharpen it, but shouldn't have to before even using it. Just thought I'd inform others so they don't waste thier money, as I know most angling shops stock these cheapos.

Don't think pro knives are supplied sharp, just honed to the correct angle. I always put new knives across the fine stone then on the steel, give 'em an oil then ready for the next fishing trip. Can't expect much less with cheapo knives.
