I swear i am one of the unluckiest guys around lol!
Went to Dungie today and it screamed fish... absolute chocolate water, nice surf, big swell, hundreds of shellfish and a few worms, starfish, mice smashed along the edge of the surf, i was confident!
First cast... A bloody seagull that i had to handline in and untangle, he was pleased though and to show it he pecked me a few times:hammer:
I then stayed there for about 6 hrs, fished the tide up from the bottom for a few whiting.
Managed to drop my M4 match TWICE!!! Now i've had it a while but i do look after it
Not best pleased
Just before packing up i decided to put one as far as possible, baited up just the single worm and let fly just as a group of freaking gulls turned my way, one hit the line and bounced off... Phew, then another goes and gets tangled!
Had enough and came home after it started p155ing down!
