How often do you like to get out on you're boat. I know the weather has a lot to answers for.
Just about every opportunity I get, depending on the weather. If I can get half a dozen weekends on the trot I would gladly take them, but last winter restricted me to seven trips from November to March. That's the downside of being on the south coast with the prevailing wind being southwesterly but other than taking a mooring up a river or estuary it's something we have to live with.

The past three years I've averaged about 50 trips per year but I am extremely fortunate in that I work shifts and have much more day time off than most. I'd struggle if I had to just rely on weekends and admire the dedication of those anglers who do especially with the vagaries of our weather. Later this year I'm hoping to take retirement (early) which I'm sure will result in even more trips.
