I've just started fishing 4mth ago and caught quite Afew cod from the shore 6lb 4oz is my biggest got photo to put on when work out how to do it. Got another good cod on Saturday 4lb 8 oz. So I'm lucky for a beginner or there more fish in newcastle

Probably right have caught plenty this year but been in the 2-3lb mark, but still hopen for one or two in the spring run fingers crossed.

Them were all last season never done aswel this year but hopen for spring run. Had plenty 2-3lb mark but not as big this year. But did have my first couple of bass so can't have it always ways lol. Here's Afew I've caught this year

I live in Huddersfield but my brother has a house in Newcastle so this year I am hoping to come up and do some fishing round your way, there's a great tackle shop in Newcastle called Tyneside Angling, owned by Steve and his wife, really great couple and extremely helpful. Steve always has a freezer full of bait and is a top bloke.

Bykerfisher has sadly passed away mark, I never met the bloke but his reports on here are like gold mate, full of information and crack about the marks and really good crack to follow.
