Thanks to Sembcorp Bournemouth Water, Angling Trust members will have access to this prestigious fishery which is normally only accessible via season ticket. More info on the fantastic location HERE.
The Grand Slam format rewards the best specimen catches of bass and mullet with the angler with the best combined catches of both species being crowned Grand Slam Champion. Prizes for the best individual bass and mullet will also be awarded on the day. This year's competition is open to Angling Trust members only so with just 40 places available book now and don't miss out!
Sandra Drew, Angling Trust Competitions & Events Manager said "We are very excited to be launching a brand new sea angling competition for our members. With a great venue and fantastic prizes it should be a weekend to remember."

We look forward to seeing you there!
Two new dates have been announced for our Kayak Angling Foundation Courses; the first on September 10th at Rudyard Lake, ST13 8XB, Staffordshire and the second on September 24th at Ladram Bay in Devon.
The course will be run by our fully qualified Kayak Angling Coaches and includes all the essentials needed to get the beginner and intermediate safely on the water and catching fish. It covers kit lists, rescues, paddling technique, anchoring and fish handling plus a host of other useful information. Emphasis will be on the on-the-water coaching so expect to get wet, enjoy yourself and meet like-minded 'yakkers.
Here's what some anglers who have attended the course have had to say about it:
"If you are a newbie like me, or even if you have just been lucky so far and take safety for granted, I would urge you to get on one of these Angling Trust courses. Eight hours of fun Kayaking and expert tuition for less than £50 (£46 AT members) is really silly money for a full days course in anything."
"I enjoyed the experience and I recommend it to all new kayakers, there is so much I learnt on the course. I travelled 200 miles to this course, and it was well worth it..."
Book a course place now: Places are available NOW so get in touch with us on 0844 77 00 616 during office hours and book your place today. Courses only cost £46 incl. VAT for Angling Trust members and offer great value for money. The price for non-members is £82 incl. VAT so this represents a saving of £36 for being an Angling Trust member.
September 10th 9.30 am at Rudyard Lake. Instructor: Simon Everett - 6 places.
September 24th 9.30 am at Ladram Bay. Instructors: Simon Everett and Paul Fennell - 12 places.
