On the night of August 11th an Islander Paradise II sit-on-top Kayak lime green & white (kiwi & white is the manufacturers description) was stolen from Brigham near Driffield East Yorkshire.

The Kayak was advertised here for sale by the member known as Gouch.

Also advertised on ebay under the name of huautos i contacted the seller to view, he gave a false mobile number & immediately removed the item from sale.

He photographed the kayak showing the number plate of his white Ford van, i contacted the police who arrived in the early hours just has he was arriving home in the van, the kayak had gone.

Arrested and later released on bail the police need to find this kayak.

The police have his computer & mobile phone anyone who has contacted the seller by phone or email, should contact Police in Beverley or myselfe on 07593830644 to eliminate themselves from the enquiry, anyone handling this kayak may be subject to prosecution if they can not prove it was bought in good faith.

Any help in finding this kayak or any information would be appreciated.

Photos have been posted around Hull were the seller lives & in the press.

i hope you find the kayak. this guy (gooch) has obviously only joined this site to sell this item as he has no threads etc and only joined recently. on one of his posts he had some interest from a guy with air rifles, maybe get in contact with him to see if he has seen or even bought the kayak

i was looking at this the over day thinking id love 1 of them i just remember seeing the post about someone offering a couple of air rifles for it. didnt know dodgy people like that were on this site, good luck in findig it mate il keep me eye open if i see it il send a few leads in its direction

The BMW is Kosher his ebay sales are being scrutinised.

No sign of any fishing gear at the house in Hull though he buys gear for pike angling, he's flogged s/h outboard motors & dinghies in the past, plenty gone missing in the area.

A small red boat with outboard, was seen in the area on the night the kayak went missing, a woman walking her dog late on remembered it because the two occupants looked too big for the boat.

This guy from Hull, fishes the River Hull, West Beck & Driffield Canal I'm sure of it.

He's called Tony he buys scrap vehicles strips them & flogs the parts, i have tracked him down to his address but for now i have to let things take their course.

Just when he thinks it's safe to go back on the water, his. nightmare begins.
