After fishing the ebb Saturday terry mick and I decided to fish the flood today to try and miss the weed. We arrived on the beach at 11.00 and started fishing with two hook clip downs baited with fresh lug and fresh lug tipped with herring. Mick had first strike with a double shot of ting and then terry and I followed with the same. That's how it went for the next four hours nearly two every cast. Mick did manage an undersized codlett about two hours inn. The good news there was no weed or crabs the tide had a good pull and we used 8oz leads to hold. We're planning another trip later in the week I'll let you know how that goes
