Hi Ickle,

the prospect for flounders is not good as they have become very scarce at Keyhaven. There are bass about in the creeks and you might get lucky on the sea side of the sluice gate. Alternatively the creek down the back of the shingle bank may fish for bass on the ebb, especially after these south westerlies, rag baits chucked in the channel which is clearly marked with boats and bouys. The problem is tons and tons of little bass so try big baits and I now always use circle hooks to avoid injuring the schoolies. A toby or mepps style lure can also work, preferably at dawn or dusk. Plenty of mullet if you're in the mood.
