Travelling down to fish Kicker for the 1st time this weekend, will be fishing daylight and night, Is much coming out at the minute? I know it can change tide to tide, but was wondering just in general?

If it's your first time stay directly of the point a bit to the right mate, plenty of rays about
Was going to park at lifeboat and walk towards the fort, that OK there?

Yeah you'll be fine there, loads of rays and doggies and the odd bass and of course the rats of the sea bloody pin whiting! Bait wise take bluey, sandeel, rag and some crab you'll do just fine :)

Good luck!

Try and get up to the point if you can, as close to the fort as possible. Its relatively clean but there is the odd snag around so bring some spare leads and traces. No need to cast miles either, might be worth bringing some 7oz leads as its a biggish tide this week and the tide can hum through

Good luck
