June 7th - Kilcoole Beach

Directions - Coming from Greystones side, driving into village and take a left turn towards the shore and railway station.

We fished a mark north of the car park. Walk along the private road until you reach the last big tree and anywhere from here up to the point is good.

Fished best on the ebb tide as the run started to die off and the weed and algae was in smaller amounts. Really started to pick up towards dusk but we had to pack up because we were there from high tide.

Speices caught:

Flounder, Dab, Plaice: Rag+Crab Legs seemed to work best. Peeler and rag on their own worked too.
Dogs: Mackrel, Sandeel.
Codling: Rag as the light started to fade.
