fished the tide in til hour half past high water mate got a few flounders bro got 2 all postage stamps i lost a small schoolie in the rocks just in front of me using blow lug plenty of bites but put that down to the postage stamp sized fish

i think you will find that as the rest of us the area has changed . - whereas the mark at the end near the car park and the bottom of the other lane used to be the hot-spots, the lack of tidal run there has put paid to these areas.
the growth of spartina grass at bardsea might have had some effect there.
better to try towards the point, casting as near the channel as poss, but not over the channel bank or you will lose your gear.
best bait this time of year is crab due to having your bait stripped off.
best bait by a mile in autumn and winter is creeper tipped with mackerel.
if you fish the marks i,ve metioned after dark you might be in for a silver suprise.
