most rediculous comment ive ever heard, yes farmed works sometimes does it out perform fresh absolutely no chance and thats coming from some of the best fisherman in the country that i know.the demand is higher because 1 its cheaper 2 its readily available and 3 a lot of shops dont have or know a bait digger for fresh rag ifmy local tackle shop can get enough fresh he wont buy from the farm and hes paying more for the fresh and selling it for no more than the farmed..farmed can outfish wild.. why do you think dragon baits is opening another farm to deal with the demand?
cos most people esp the grogs dont /cant tell the difference!!!!!!!!!..farmed can outfish wild.. why do you think dragon baits is opening another farm to deal with the demand?
I'll second that. The rag I had there the the day was so big it nearly needed tying or could use it over two hooks.aspinals angling in barry have very good wild king rag best ive used anyway
you want to change the shop you go to then dnt you, i get the added advantage of picking my own worm as soon as it comes in so mines allways fresh mighty mullet record holder its a bit of writing on a bit of paper mate...riiiight. ok. so farmed stuff is worse than stuff that's been stored in a shop for a few days? ...which most shops do by the way and unless you phone up and ask when they get it in and then your limited to when you can go. Freshly dug stuff may be a diffrent story..but not everyone has the time to go digging it...which is good because other wise you wouldn't have a choice and you'd HAVE to buy the farmed.:hammer:
TBH...most the 'wild' rag that's sold in shops look like maddies, are half dead/comotose and get sold to you weighed with the peat . I catch more off the 'farmed' worms...plus they come from a reliable source where the beds aren't ripped to pieces.
Sorry..I forgot that you are the all mighty mullet record holder so you clearly have the right to say what you like..ie call my comment 'rediculous'. No problem :victory:
I'm a grogg then?... I love how a simple comment descend into this. Name calling...
:showoff::showoff::showoff::showoff: im a big show off and i love itLike I said...freshly dug worms are diffrent to week old manky shop rag. But farmed will outfish average shop rag...which is what I was talking about. Plus...when I work out how long it takes for me to travel,dig..on top of fuel etc..i'd be better off working and just paying for it.
You honestly think I go to the same one? ...cleverer than I thought. But as for bit of writing on a bit of paper... you sure wanted to make it mroe than that though didn't you. Don't act modest or humble because you sure wanted to drive it home http://www.worldseafishing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=277519
don't get me wrong...nice fish but..were you not happy enough with it that you needed forum members to give you a good gobble? Just a question..
