fished the Knap on Sunday morning buoyed by the thought of the big tides.

Nothing, Nadda, Zilch, Sweet FA.

There were quite a few on the beach but I didn't see one thing caught. Apologies if I missed one, but it looked pretty barren to me.

was also on the knap on Sunday, caught a small bass, and a pollock that you could have swallowed. Talked to a guy called Chris who lives in Rhoose and he said he`s caught over 19 rays of the beach this year, and he say`s that he starts fishing 2 hrs after high water for 3-4 hrs. Fishing 2 hrs before high water is a waste of time and bait so I was told.

Unlucky mate, it's not at its best it seems. I managed a 3lb thornie on Saturday and saw a small eyed landed as well. I fished it yesterday morning (25th) and had a doggie, a teaplate turbot and a baby tope. The tides are getting smaller now but hopefully it will pick up soon
