Can't say that I've used the Hokkaido poppers, but I've had a little success on their shallow diver in the herring colour.

They're actually produced in Italy by Alceido, a company that is just starting to make a name for itself in this country. They make some good looking other kit as well. They are great value lures, though the finish will wear off quicker than the pricier end of the market equivalents. Probably try painting them in some clear nail varnish to protect the paint, if I were you.

also they have holes in the mouth ether side to make bubbles im told
