Location: Felixstowe Languard Point near Manor Park.
Time: 11.30am to 20.45pm
High Tide: 15.03pm
Weather: Very warm (25 deg) and sunny for most of the day. Blustery wind 18-20mph blowing down the beach(south).
Sea:Rough as tide coming in 3ft waves but flattened down on way out
Catch: 12 Whiting and one Pouting mainly small. 2 Crabs
Best: Whiting 22cm
Rigs:
Rod 1- 2 hook paternoster 4/0 hooks. 30cm trace. Mackerel top/Lug bottom
Rod 2- 2 hook paternoster 3/0 hooks. 30cm trace. Lug top and bottom
Best Bait: Lug(Nothing on Mackerel)
Best Rig: Bottom line
Best fishing distance: 70 yards approx
Best time. After dark.
Snags: One rig lost on bottom

Following last week didn’t expect too much until dark. Had four fish late afternoon after high tide at 3pm until dark but then had the rest after dark. Bites difficult to see due to the strong winds and waves crashing and catching line with some green slimy weed but it was mainly as tide was coming in.Ended the session with 9 fish for me and 4 for Shaun so not the best but a cracking warm day for sitting on the beach in mid October. Only one lot of Anglers at the river end when we arrived but they left before dark.
