on holiday last week in lanzarote and although i dident catch loads of fish i really enjoyed it. it was more relax then fish but fished the shore a couple of times near the airport and caught some fish not sure what species they are if you no please drop a message. all fish caught on a chubber float with size 14 hook on 6lb line with bread or gamba.
i also tryed my luck at the bigger game fishing which was a great experiance but did not turn up any big fish however we did stop to do some bottom fishing on a double hook rig and bomb with squid which i caught to red fish both different looking likr a bream. but alot of money for just two fish but still would recommend it

On seeing that you are off to teguise, I have to let you know of a bad experiance we had in may.

My friend and my self had a great time over there and caught stacks of bream and palameto`s we mainly caught on bread on the surface .Float fishing with prawn was also productive using a long wishbone style rig free line under the preweighted float.
We fished round on the shelterd side round on the rocks by playa bastian
All went well upto the last day ,we were fishing to the right of the beach on the rocks and after a great morning all was well.My mate then needed the loo so I surgested he went up to the bar and as soon as he went I was joined by 2 locals.I felt uneasy as I was left with our tackle spread out about 10 feet apart so I started to reel in my rods, as I done this one of the blokes came infront of me and started to distact me as the other one helped him self to my mates rod and reel out of his bag.He very quickly ran off leaving me with the other chap.Firstly he was gone in a flash and secondly I could not give chase as the chap would of helped himself to the rest of the gear.He totally disowned the Friend of his stating that hew was from Morocco and and that they are all theives.SO BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watch out fore a Gravell telespin 360 HC with a Bait runner .That totally made up our mind that we will not be returning and will stick to Fuerteventura as it is alot safer.
