hiya, decided to come down to playa blanca soon, i guess the licence inforcement is still low key for holidaymakers?, if not then i dont mind buying one, if it lasts for years, any agents down there?, dont mind paying a few bob.

I wouldn't bother mate.

Nobody I spoke to while fishing, or where I bought some tackle, had even heard of it. One local, working in our hotel, had, but he just laughed. Apparently, if you have a whole day spare to traipse across town from office to office collecting rubber stamps, you can buy one as a souvenir, but the only real regulations you need to follow are the "no fishing here" signs (eg off the marina wall)

yep, thanks for the reply, its as i have experianced it, but, you never know, you get used to the marxist regime here, and expect to be fined for any old thing., got to love the canarian attitude. its why i go there, to have a human reality check.
