Thought I recognised that name from another forum! :D

We fish an inlet the other side of Lawrenny, between Cosheston & Milton, usually a few hours either side of high tide. I find rag & harbour rag the best sort of bait there, but we've got lucky on peeler too.

I,ve had loads of schoolies there this year, always fished from 1 hour before low water then finished about 3 hours after low as it seems to dry up then, I don,t fish off of the quay though, i normally go onto the next point up that overlooks Llangwm.:fish:

When ever its to rough off the beach i always head for Lawrenny, loads of Bass, Wrasse and eels, I just can't get the bleedin Mullet although they swim about two foot in front of Me!!!!:fish:

Haha, they are sucidal down there dude, smash some dodgy old mackerel into a bucket, gotta be fresh though(well you know what i mean), with a little bit of water, then add 1-2 loaves of bread, feed it down little and often, they go mental for it, 5lbs is my biggest up there. Some bigger ones though
