They say it's february , this week we managed to get some great weather here in bonnie Scotland .
We managed to get a few fish , even pike on the maggot . Absolutly still ..
We anchored and ledgered .

Catching roach and perch .

Some nice roach .

Paddled around the island .

And then fished with more surprises . Pike on the maggot .

Great day with températures soaring into 13 C .

Great day on the bonnie banks .

Love Scotland .

Hi Nicolas, what rods do you use when out on Lomond ? Should we come down again, would it be possible to maybe meet up for a bit of kayak fishing with you guys ?? Cheers Rob
Lrf rods are my favorite on the big loch , great for perch on the soft lures . I also use heavier rods for the pike lure fishing .
. Always welcome on the big loch Piker 58 , plenty space !

nice video as usual, well done. I fish the Loch for Pike. A few years ago I tried to buy a course fishing license and was told I didn't need one on the grounds that the Loch is a navigable water. But this weekend I met a water bailiff who has just moved in along the road from me and he says you do need a permit now. So I don't know what to think.

It's £50 a year for coarse fishing on loch Lomond . We do meet the bailiff on the water from time to time . All fish must be returned alive also . If that water was not protected it would be ruined .
