I'm interested in buying a couple of Leeda Icon-M Match but they state they are rung for multipliers, I know you can use fixed spools on some multiplier rods but has anyone used fixed spools on this particular model?

Have a look at the new I Max FR range, supposidly built on the Icon blank, there are FS & Multi options across the range.

You can use a multi rod with a fixed spool if has coasters just get a sliding reel seat for it done

The imax are not the same blank as the icon.

I use a FS with My M-sport power and it's fine, even with coasters
