Want to buy the new Leeda icon but will be using it with a fixed spool and I know they come with coasters does any 1 know wat I have to do to put a reel seat on it and wat size and where I can get them from ect

There is a Leeder Icon sport in excellent condition on the S/E classified I bought a rod off this chap a while back and it was like new. if you were to take the but section to a tackle shop they would fit you out with the right winch fitting. there is also one of these rods on e bay.

I own a leeda icon and they are great rods. They do make fixed spool rods that have reels seats on them. I would nit advise using an FS on the multi rod as you may damage the integrity of the rod. It is built a certain way so as pressure on the blank allows the rod to vend freely and vice versa on the FS version.

i think they are going to do a fixed spool version soon. some one may be able to confirm for deff.
