I am naturally left handed and as Led states....It is Leading Arm..the one at the bottom of the rod. Trailing Arm the upper hand on the rod.
Spending a lifetime watching, learning just about everything from right handed persons, I find it strange to watch other lefties doing anything.

Forget that you are a leftie just watch and learn from the best. I am sure your mind will subconsciously convert things for you. You will find plenty of videos to watch on http://www.myfishcasting.com/casting_forum/viewforum.php?f=1 there you will find "posters" with a mind set on casting.

Don't be misled by others saying there is a difference between the field and the beach. The basics and dynamics are the same. Once you have the basics right you will soon understand its just a matter of more or less effort, more or less arc. Another source of first class information can be found on http://www.peterthain.co.uk/

good luck
