We always enjoy the sea , the fresh air and the big spaces . It was time to head back to the Clyde , the west coast of Scotland near Ardrossan looked perfect . It's december now and it's fresh . We dressed up accordingly to withstand the cold , took advantage of a high tide and went .

Using light tackle .

I set the drogue , slowing down my drift and worked those small rubber shads . The action soon began .

It was good fishing at times and some great sport .

We then tried for the wrasse .

With success .

Bending rods .

We managed to shelter from the cold wind .

And enjoyed the sunset . A bright cold day and a good paddle .
