Me Scott and Tottie left early today for our days fishing.
First stop was Furnace.
On Totties first cast in came a Pollock around the 1lb mark.
Things went quite for a while until I changed from Jelly worms to Sabikis, I then had 4 micro Pollock in quick succession.
By this time it was only Scott who was still to produce.
Scott had put out a big rod to try for conger, and it was this rod that was to go next........
After a 10 minute play up came Scott's first ever conger.
It came in at 18lb. First time I've ever saw one in the flesh, What a beautiful creature...
Currently we are at Cairndow fishing the tide down, nothing to report as yet.....

It was actually quite comical, Scott noticed line getting took and he picked up the rod looked at me and asked "what should i do"??? My blank expressionless face accompanied with an "I don't know", I've never caught a conger either.......
Talk about Dumb and Dumber....
