I fished the right of the beach with lug,razor, maddies and crab. Nine bass from 2 to 3 1/4 lbs and 6 flounder (all spent). Also saw a small pod of dolphin/porpoise feeding very close in ( 50 yard) . Lovely night for it with very little wind a tidy surf and a big moon playing hide and seek with the occasional cloud. Never again however will i walk from Broughton, i still have the music from " Lawrence of Arabia" going through my head, YES i got lost in the dunes.

A good catch, well done.

I got lost in the dunes once, but now I take a 4ft length of 2x1 timber which I have wrapped reflective tape around one end. I push it in to the front of a dune by the path. It works a treat. You can pick it out in your headlight from over 200 yards away.

the steps are still out at the moment from the winter storms, not sure about parking at hillend overnight. top fishing though.

I got lost in Merthyr Mawr dunes but I am sure the bottle of rum in my hand had something to do with it, I got 3/4 way up the dunes and kept rolling back down so I never made it past the one I started on according to my mates, I got out the next morning.
