Well its only 8 days to the meet,,:clap2:
So lets drum up a bit of advertising/intrest to make this a meet MSW would be proud of,as well all know steve started this event in memory of Lee, while rasing as much money for the R.N.L.I. as possible..
This year I have donated a sheild which will be presented for the LONGEST golden gray,unfortunaly steve never got to see/know about it as it was to be a surprise for him at this yrs meet..
I cannot begin to imagine how hard this would of been for steve and nikki along with the rest of the familly, to arrange /attened these meets every year.
This yrs will be even harder for Nikki and the familly ,but im sure steve will be there watching us all..
Last yrs total was, i think just over £1000, so lets try and raise as much this year at least,.


All the monies raised will be donated to the R.N.L.I.
As well as the suggested donation total, we will be raising money by having a raffle,so if you have anything that you wish to donate for that, it will be a great help..

Make sure you have ordered your maddies..

and for the local boys KEENS in aberkenfig are stocking maddies now, but get your orders in early as stocks are limited ,best bet is to phone the shop asap so he can give his digger enough time to get them.

thats good news dee i'll have to give them a ring tommorow. ant idea how much they are so i can ask the boys from cardiff if the want me to order them some?

aswell as golden greys theres also bass and flounder so dont be put off if you cant get maddies ,at low water you can collect butterfish to try as bait for them looking for a bit of variety.

That the now traditional "Brickie Wooden Clock" with the brass plaque commemorating the "Steve & Lee Day" can go in the raffle, & Brickie will have a chance of winning ANOTHER one (he already has 4)!:whistling:
He would never win one using angling skills, so its nice to see him in with a chance of winning something in the raffle!:roll1:
