Hi all. Had my first sea session of the year last sunday (I'm actually a coarse angler but I like to indulge myself with the sea sometimes too).

Anyways, I fished 2 hours up at dusk from the beach at Lligwy and as the light started to fade the amount of bites I got increased. Firstly it started with the doggies and then moved onto whiting. They were quite small though. I was actually hoping to get a few flounder but beggars can't be choosers. All in all though there were plenty bites to had and I was surprised on how short a chuck I could get them on. I was only throwing about 40 yards. It just goes to show how they will travel into that shallow water when the light starts to go. I'm definately going to give it a go another time. I think it might prove even better with a bit of surf on it.

Tight lines.:) :) :)
