A few of the lads had a little tour from Weds til Sat....starting at the Water Tower at Dinas,we had 11 bass between 2lb - 3lb,plus a couple of dogs and a whiting, all taken on blow lug.On the Thursday,we had a session from the beach at Pwllheli, which resulted in plenty of dogs with one small pollack for luck.Friday we fished the last couple of hours of the flood at Nefyn beach, but only managed 2 small turbot....then moved to the rocks at Morfa, where we had a few wrasse on the float, and some small pollack on storm sandeels (if you have`nt tried them, they`re brilliant)...we then fished the beach about 1/2 mile east of Trefor pier, hoping for a bass or huss, but again we were slaughtered by dogs, with only 1 very small huss taken on full squid bait.Sat,a couple of us fished from just before high, til a couple after,at Mostyn, where we had 1 flounder and 3 good plaice on fresh peeler. All things considered,it was a very good few days, with fish caught at every venue....with bigger tides, and fishing after dark,i`m sure we`d have done much better.
